About RCAPLP
The Research Center for Asian Pacific Language Policies (RCAPLP) is committed to the pioneering research in language policies, in particular, the contrastive study of language policies in countries such as China, US, Russia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Canada and Australia. RCAPLP now boasts a galaxy of researchers from the School of Foreign Languages, School of Economics and Management, School of Humanities, College of International Students and Institute of National Defense Education. With the support and assistance from the National Research Center for Foreign Language Education, Tsinghua University, Columbia University, National University of Singapore, Hiroshima University, People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries of Jiangsu Province, Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Nanjing Municipal Government, we hope that our findings will be helpful for policy-making, language economy, Chinese culture dissemination, public diplomacy and national security.
